Our April group exhibition will present artworks on the theme of THE BODY ALTERNATIVE.

We asked local artists to submit works responding to questions of how we exist in our bodies, how we present ourselves and negotiate how we feel versus how we are perceived, how we relate our own experiences of the body to others, and more.

We were overwhelmed by the submissions, and have curated a fantastic bunch of works looking at themes of imagined selves, identity, mutation, perceptions, realities, disability, health, gender, sexuality, beauty standards and representation. Many of the artists are non-professional and this will be their first time exhibiting work.
